Shipping and Returns

Last updated: 28 August 2026

Thank you for purchasing!

This Shipping & Returns Policy explains how I handle delivery, returns, refunds and problems with products purchased through my website.

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable laws.

1. Shipping within Australia

I currently offer delivery within Australia.

Available shipping options and the applicable shipping cost will be displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.

Orders are generally dispatched within 7business days of receiving payment.

Once your order has been dispatched, delivery times will depend on the delivery service and destination.

As a general guide, Australian deliveries may take approximately 7 business days, although delivery times can vary.

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated otherwise.

2. International shipping

At this time, I only ship orders within Australia.

3. Delivery address

Please check your delivery address carefully before completing your order.

I am not responsible for delays or additional costs resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by you.

If you realise that you have provided an incorrect address, please contact me as soon as possible. I will do my best to assist, but I cannot guarantee that an address can be changed once an order has been dispatched.

4. Tracking

Where a tracked delivery service is used, tracking information will be provided to you where available.

Once an order has been handed to the relevant delivery provider, delivery is subject to that provider's processes and timeframes.

5. Delayed or missing orders

If your order has not arrived within a reasonable period after the expected delivery timeframe, please contact me at:

jackimcnab@gmail.com

Please provide your order number and delivery details so that I can investigate the issue.

If an order is confirmed as lost in transit, I will work with the delivery provider to determine the appropriate next step and, where required by law, provide an appropriate remedy.

6. Damaged books

I take care when packaging orders, but books can occasionally be damaged during transit.

If your book arrives damaged, please contact me as soon as reasonably possible and, where practical, provide photographs showing the damage and the packaging.

I will assess the issue and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement, refund or other remedy in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.

Please do not dispose of a damaged product or its packaging until I have had an opportunity to assess the issue, unless doing so is reasonably necessary for safety.

7. Incorrect or incomplete orders

If you receive the wrong book, an incorrect quantity or an item that is materially different from what you ordered, please contact me as soon as possible.

I will work with you to correct the issue and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement, refund or other remedy.

8. Change-of-mind returns

Unless otherwise stated, I do not accept returns simply because you have changed your mind or no longer want the book.

This includes situations where you:

  • ordered the wrong book;

  • ordered the wrong quantity;

  • changed your mind after purchase; or

  • found the product cheaper elsewhere.

However, I may choose to accept a change-of-mind return at my discretion.

If I agree to a change-of-mind return, I may require that:

  • you contact me before returning the product;

  • the book is unused and in its original saleable condition;

  • you return the product at your own cost; and

  • the original shipping cost is not refundable.

Any agreed change-of-mind return remains subject to applicable law.

9. Products with a fault or problem

If your book has a manufacturing fault, significant defect or other problem covered by the Australian Consumer Law, please contact me.

Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy.

I will assess the problem and provide the remedy required by law.

10. Refunds

Where a refund is approved, I will generally refund the amount paid using the original payment method where practicable.

The time taken for the refund to appear in your account may depend on your bank or payment provider.

Where a refund is required under Australian Consumer Law, I will process it in accordance with my legal obligations.

11. Return process

Please do not send a product back without contacting me first.

To request a return or report a problem, please email:

jackimcnab@gmail.com

Please include:

  • your name;

  • order number;

  • date of purchase;

  • description of the issue; and

  • photographs where relevant.

I will then provide instructions about the return process where a return is appropriate.

12. Return postage

Where a product is faulty, damaged, incorrect or otherwise covered by a consumer guarantee, I will handle return shipping in accordance with my obligations under the Australian Consumer Law.

For an approved change-of-mind return, the customer will generally be responsible for return postage unless I agree otherwise.

13. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

The Australian Consumer Law provides consumers with certain guarantees regarding goods and services.

If a product does not meet a consumer guarantee, you may have rights to a remedy depending on the nature and seriousness of the problem.

These rights apply regardless of whether I offer a voluntary returns policy.
